
Dr. Marcus Alvarado is a Highland native. After graduating from Highland High School, he attended Mckendree University on a scholarship, where he studied Business Administration, Human Biology & Physiology, and Kinesiology. Dr. Marcus played soccer and football at Mckendree, as he is passionate about sports and exercise. He acquired his undergraduate degree and moved to St. Louis, Missouri, to attend Logan University to pursue his Doctorate in Chiropractic.
Dr. Marcus’s parents are both practicing medical doctors in town, and always encouraged him to provide service in the healthcare field. After attaining his Doctorate in Chiropractic, Dr. Marcus began practicing in Toms River, New Jersey, at one of the top multidisciplinary Sports Medicine practices in the country! After practicing there for several years, he decided to move home to be closer to family, friends, and provide service to his hometown community.
When out of the office he enjoys playing soccer, exercising, and reading self-improvement books. Dr. Marcus looks forward to serving his patients to the best of his ability for years to come!
